The Sudoku board is a square divided into 9 major squares
(dark and light backgrounds) that are each subdivided
into 9 smaller Cell squares.
|
Given Cell Values
|
Games start with a number of Given (pre-assigned) cells,
usually in a symmetrical arrangement. All games in Auto Sudoku's
library are symmetric, but the software solves all kinds of games.
|
Cell Neighborhood
|
The value of a cell cannot be reused on other cells in its neighborhood (Cells that
are located on the same column, row, or major square).
Right click on a cell in Auto Sudoku to hilight all its neighbors.
|
A Solved Game
|
A game is solved when all cells are correctly assigned.
As you assign cells, Auto Sudoku solves the remaining unassigned
cells. You select the amount of information you want
displayed about the cells solved by Auto Sudoku.
